Started the week where I left off last week (losing). Things turned around Wedensday and my downswing ended at about 32 buyins. Ran extremely well Wedensday and Thursday netting almost $1300 over these two days. Friday was not good and I was looking at my worst day of poker being down about $800 at one point. Luckily I finished my last 5-6 tourneys really strong and ended down just $250 for the day. I didn`t get to play this weekend as I had a floorball game Saturday and didnt feel really sharp Sunday after celebrating our win Saturday night.

I missed my target once again, which is not good, but I am still happy I managed to stay away Sunday as I felt I couldn`t bring my A-game. Anyways started 7-tabeling in the end of the week and felt that went very well. Cleared some bonus Sunday and for the first time came out ahead with the playing. Overall I have to say I am happy with the week.

Goals week 4

I am really motivated to pick up the slack from last week and finish off the month on a high note. I will play at least 250 SNGs 7-tabeling at the end of the week. In addition I will clear of some of the bonuses I did not finish off last week. While doing this I will continue to work on my game, looking through interesting hands and complete hand histories.

Just a brutal week. I am most dissapointed about only getting in 89 SNGs. The reason for this was a terrible weather which caused the power and internet connection to go on and off at random times. After going into the money with 8000 chips in one tournament Thursday, losing my power for 5 minutes and coming back to see I finished 3rd, I stopped playing for the week. Probably a good decison as things continued being unstable.

I decided it would be safer to clear some bonuses playing on tabels with disconnection protection. Once again I ran bad (or maybe I suck at low stakes NL cash games?) and got really bored/pissed off, so I didn`t play as much as I would have playing SNGs.

Goals Week 3.

Goals will be the same as last week. Will be away for Sunday so I don`t think I have a chance at 200 SNGs. Will continue playing 6 at a time continiously. I realize I will not have a chance at 8 until early next month if I want to keep playing my A-game. Next week I will take a shot at 7 even if I do not feel ready as I believe it will be though in the beginning no matter what.

Total Profit Week 2: $1900

This has been another good week, but it started out bad Monday losing about $500 while I sat a new high for tournaments played in a day this year with 66. My first 8 SNGs Tuesday was my best streak ever as I went 4 firsts, 1 second and 1 third netting $810. The next two days went well too and I had made my goal of 150 SNGs played by Thursday. As I was starting up Friday I suddenly lost my internet connection and had to fire up my backup ISDN connection. My antivirus program told me I had gotten a virus and I had to spend the rest of the day trying to remove it :(

As usual I ran bad as I tried to clear some bonus losing most of it. I should probably stop wasting time doing it as I find it incredible boring and irritating compared to SNGs. Tried playing Ed Millers shortstack NL system, but I hardly won a pot. Still I believe this system really has a lot of merit as most of the players really seemed to have no clue how to play my shortstack. (I was playing NL100 and NL200).

I had hoped to get in some tournaments sunday after I returned from a roadtrip with my floorball team, but I was too tiered, so I ended up with 167 SNGs played, just over my 150 goal.

Goals

Because I will be away for the weekend I am aiming at juts 150 SNGs this week.

I will continue 6 tableing for the rest of this week, probably adding another table next week and maybe be up to 8 next month. Getting up to 8 tables has been more difficult than I thought. Starting new games is the main problem as it takes away a lot of my focus especially as I am trying to do some game selection.

Reviewing my hand histories every day before I start playing has been very important to my game and confidence and I will revire at least 3 each day this week in addition to other interesting hands I save while playing.

Total Profit Week 1: $2277

First I am a little dissapointed that I did not meet my goal of 200 SNGs played. The reason for this was that I had to clear more bonus than expected.

I started out running very well. Winning over $2000 in about 130 tournaments played between monday and friday. My luck did not last through the weekend and I ended up with a small loss Saturday and dropped about $250 Sunday.

Some of this was probably because of bad play as I struggled to adjust to the looser calling ranges of the weekend players. I did not play very well in the first three days of the week either, mainly not being as aggressive as I should from the small blind and when I ran up a big stack. Thursday and Friday were the only days I felt I was really playing well.

I have been going through 3-5 hand histories every day except for the weekend. This has been very important and I feel I play with a lot more confidence after I have reviewed a couple of tournaments.

PokerAce HUD is the shit! I am able to make a lot of plays I would normally not have the reads to make.

Financial goals

My starting balance for the year looks like this:
Neteller: 1568
PartyPoker: 881
PinnacleSports: 2134
RitzPoker: 232
WillHill: 229
UKbetting: 224
Totalbet: 225
Paradise: 43
Total Bankroll: $5536

With 100 buyins this should be sufficient to play the 55s, but I am a little worried as I have always been overbankrolled (3-400 buyins), so war not starting with a huge downswing.

I am set up with 25% rakeback, and hope to get included into the Party VIP program for next month which would give me an effective rakeback of 32.5%.

From this month I expect a rakeback of about $1000.
I will also do some bonus whoring which I expect to be worth about $500 for the month.
When it gets to profit from playing I have decided to start out with a conservative outlook and a target ROI of 5%. From the 800 SNGs I expect to get in this month this would generate $2200.
Total goal for this first month is: $3700.

Here is the chart I will update my results to:

Goals

I will 8-table the 55 sit and go tournaments at partypoker, and attempt to get in 1000-1500 games a month.

I am set up with pokertracker and pokerace HUD and have started mining the 55s.

This first week I will mainly try getting back to 8-tabeling. I have not 8-tabled sit and gos in about 2 months, so I guess I will start out 4 or 6 tabeling. It will probably take some time getting used to pokerace too. My main goal this first week is getting comfortable with my game, going through hand histories etc.

I will post my financial goals later this week.
